Anonyome Labs’ Privacy Shield Statement

Anonyome Labs, Inc. complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and the United Kingdom, and/or Switzerland to the United States, respectively. Anonyome Labs, Inc. has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles regarding Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, and Recourse, Enforcement and Liability for all personal data that it receives from the EU, United Kingdom and Switzerland. The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over Anonyome Labs, Inc.’s compliance with the Privacy Shield.

If there is any conflict between the terms in Anonyome’s Privacy Policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. To learn more about the Privacy Shield program, and to view our certification, please visit https://www.privacyshield.gov/welcome.

As required under the Privacy Shield Principles, when Anonyome Labs, Inc. receives information under the Privacy Shield and then transfers it to a third-party service provider acting as an agent on Anonyome Labs, Inc.’s behalf, Anonyome Labs, Inc. has certain liability under the Privacy Shield if both (i) the agent processes the information in a manner inconsistent with the Privacy Shield and (ii) Anonyome Labs, Inc. is responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

Users whose information is covered under the Privacy Shield Principles have certain legal rights to access certain information Anonyome Labs, Inc holds about them and to obtain erasure of that information. In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, Anonyome Labs, Inc. commits to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your personal data. European Union individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our Privacy Shield policy should first contact Anonyome Labs, Inc. at: support@anonyome.com

If you have an unresolved privacy or data use concern that we have not addressed satisfactorily, please (a) contact our U.S.-based third party dispute resolution provider (free of charge) at https://feedback-form.truste.com/watchdog/request, (b) contact your local EU, United Kingdom or Swiss Data Processing Authority (“DPA”), or (c) investigate binding arbitration (as a last resort).

Anonyome’s accountability for personal data that it receives under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party is described in the Privacy Shield Principles. In particular, unless Anonyome Labs proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage, we remain responsible and liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if third-party agents that it engages to process the personal data on its behalf do so in a manner that is inconsistent with the Principles.
