Handles Coming to MySudo for Easier Encrypted Comms

We’re introducing handles to give MySudo users another identifier for encrypted communications.

The first release will be in about a month.

Handles empower you to use all of our encrypted communications functions — messaging, video and calling – without a phone number.

Handles are flexible and recognizable which makes them easy to use and remember.

You’ll have the option to create a handle for all the Sudos you set up in the app (up to nine). For example, you could set up a ‘Family and Friends” Sudo and add a handle to it, then share it with your contacts so it’s easy to communicate on MySudo.

Here are the steps:

  1. Create a “Friends and Family” Sudo.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Add a Sudo handle that you want to share with friends and family.
  4. Tap Save.

In other exciting news, we’ll be introducing “Invite a friend” soon too, making it easier to invite another user to join you on MySudo.

With this function, you’ll send your friend a link with your MySudo contact information, which will prompt the friend to install MySudo Once they have the app installed, they can instantly start communicating with you.

We’ll let you know when these new functions arrive.
