Gartner Confirms Anonyome Labs’ Solutions Offer Competitive Edge

The 2024 Gartner Emerging Tech Impact Radar confirms that Anonyome Labs’ enterprise solutions are among the highest impact technologies for gaining a competitive business advantage.

The latest annual impact radar nominates privacy and transparency as one of four emerging tech themes with the most potential to disrupt a broad cross-section of markets. Anonyome Labs’ market leading solutions fit squarely within this theme.

Gartner then pinpoints decentralized identity (DI) and privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) as two emerging technologies within that theme that product leaders should be factoring into their strategic and investment planning. Anonyome Labs’ offers both DI and PETs solutions through its B2B solutions.

According to Gartner, “Increasing digitization of assets, information and experiences and the usage of AI are making privacy and transparency issues increasingly important by increasing opportunities for bad agents to mimic, disrupt and intercept our activities. They are also intensifying concerns around negative consequences of AI tools and techniques.

“Rapid innovation in critical enabling technologies, like Web3, scalable vector databases and neuromorphic computing are creating new possibilities for IT solutions.”

Through that lens, Gartner recommends, “Stimulat[ing] growth while mitigating risk and restrictive regulation by building user trust via systems such as decentralized identity and behavioral analytics and applying human-centered AI and responsible AI principles … [and] support[ing] your strategic product roadmap by identifying relevant emerging technologies and business values that they can enable and identifying relevant innovation tech partners.”

Gartner describes DI or self-sovereign identity systems as technologies that address privacy and transparency challenges with traditional identity systems, and PETs as robust approaches that allow the processing of information while protecting underlying personal data. See below for further reading.

Gartner says all 30 emerging technologies and trends are critical for product leaders to evaluate as part of their competitive strategy. And it seems many have already started in the privacy and transparency themed space: More than 62 per cent of US companies plan to incorporate a DI solution into their operations, with 74 per cent likely to do so by June 2024.
